Change of Watch
The Change of Watch is a formal, catered event held in the clubhouse to honor the incoming commodore and officials, and to recognize the outgoing commodore.
New Member's Brunch
The New Member's Brunch welcomes new members with a free brunch. Board members and committee chairs are invited to give new members an overview of the club and otherwise make the new members a part of the club.
A little more untraditional, the Steak Roast requires everyone to get their own steak and cook it to their preferences on a large grill by the pavilion. Baked potatoes, buns, and other food are inside the clubhouse to go with the steak. Don't forget your spices and cooking utensils!
Pig Roast
For a few lucky members, the Pig Roast starts the night before - somebody has to put the pig in the roaster at midnight. This event is held at riverside with a live band playing all night.
Commodore's Party
The Commodore's Party is hosted by the current commodore in whatever theme they choose.
Corn Roast
Corn is prepared and cooked in a giant cooker to perfection, and tables are set up for you to husk, butter, and salt your own ear of corn. A live band also entertains at riverside all night.
Labor Day Picnic
The Labor Day Picnic is unique because everyone brings a dish to share. This is the last event of the summer held at riverside.
Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest is German themed, including the beer and the band.
Holiday Party
The Holiday Party is a family event with activities for the little kids, and a surprise visit from someone special!
